Dear Principal Kilmer,

I am very pleased to enclose our class alumni association’s check in the amount of $400.00 as an additional gift to the FM Education Foundation. When combined with prior contributions, following our 50^th Reunion in 2006, the total now stands at $2,400.00. The 2006 portion was split between your facility and Wellwood (our original “home”); however, given this smaller amount, it only makes sense that it all go to the newer school. These funds are the association’s residual bank account following our final formal 55^th Reunion in March 2011.

Our request for the utilization of these new funds is as follows:

~$50. for a brick in the entry walkway. We suggest “In Honor of the Class of 1956”. Other suggestions are welcome.

The remaining balance of ~$350.00 should be used to support out-of-budget projects (1 or more) in science, mathematics and pre-college engineering type technology. We hope you find the money helpful in these difficult financial times.
